If you have decided to make the switch to a single chainring, you are on the verge of a new and exciting chapter in your journey to better cycling.
But you may be wondering just where to begin and which components are going to give you the best return on your investment. We’re here to help.

“Try to line the front chainring up with the middle of the rear cassette in order to reduce the angle when your chain
is on the highest and lowest gears, as this can affect shifting and cause faster wear.”

If you do decide to switch to a 1x11 drivetrain, you'll need to have the appropriate chain.
Our Cycle Lab staff will be able to advise which is best for your set-up.
